Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum will be open free to the public December 7, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

  • A special, LIVE streaming web program from The National WWII Museum on Pearl Harbor will be available for public viewing in the Hall of Valor. Start times are 10 AM and 2 PM.
  • The Soldiers & Sailors Staff will assemble outside at the flagpole on Fifth Avenue at 12:30 PM and will mark the time of the attack by lowering the US Flag.   The flag will be lowered to half-staff by University of Pittsburgh ROTC cadets  at 12:53 PM EST, when the attack started; and raised again at 2:55 PM when the attack ended.

 The public is encouraged to join us for the ceremony.
