During severe weather conditions please call ahead or click here for unscheduled closings of the museum.

Admission:

Adults - $8

Seniors (60+)- $5

Children (5-13) - $5

Free admission is offered to military members serving on active duty, and in the Guard and Reserve; to those veterans who have served and retired military.

Free admission is offered to families and their guests if the family has an immediate family member serving in our current conflicts.

From PA Turnpike:

Take I-376 (west) to Oakland Exit, #3B.
Up hill on Bates St.
Left on S. Bouquet St.
Right on Forbes Ave.
Left on Bigelow Blvd.

From I-79

Exit I-279 Pittsburgh to I-376 Oakland.
Take I-376 to Oakland Exit to Forbes Ave.
Turn left on Bigelow Blvd.

From the Airport

Follow Route 60 to I-279 Pittsburgh.
Take I-376 to Oakland Exit to Forbes Ave. Turn left on Bigelow Blvd.

 

Handicap Accessibility

Visitors with physical disabilities can enter the Memorial via our ramp and accessible entrance located on the University Place side of the building (west side), with an intercom call box to request assistance.  Parking is limited and may require one to be dropped off prior to parking elsewhere.  Restrooms for visitors with physical disabilities are located on the third level, accessible via our two elevators.
